The Baby K One

I woke up this morning, and did my usual thing.
I stood up in my crib and yelled for mom
                                   while pooping my pants.
I was hungry, so I thought I might hint it
to mom by chewing on myself.
                                Cannibalism is serious stuff...
moms can't be having that kind of thing!
                                         Then I was like...

                                     OMG! I need coffee!
                                                                 (Yuuuuumy, coffee!)

I was looking through moms pictures this morning
and I saw that the only thing she took
pictures of this week was me!
                                        Well...

She did take this picture of vegetables from her garden, but seriously, its all me. So this week, I'm telling the stories!

                                      But first...hey mom!

I might be needing some more coffee!

A little about me...

If I had to describe myself I would say that I'm a delight to be around. I'm not like the other babies. I only cry when there's really something to cry about. To prove it, I'll tell you top ten things I cried about this week, so that you can know what a chill baby I am.

1. Mom wouldn't let me eat rabbit poop.
2. Mom didn't give me a bite fast enough.
3. I dropped my pacifier.
4. The kitty kept running away from me.
5. Mom wouldn't let me put my hands in my dirty diaper.
6. I found a fuzzy stuck to my knee and didn't like it.
7. I didn't want to play with my blocks.
8. Mom wouldn't let me play with the electric sockets.
9. Sissy wanted to hold me.
10. Mom wouldn't let me pinch her lip.

So, you see, I only get upset when there are things to get upset about. Mostly, I'm really cool, and very undemanding. I only demand things like food, to picked up, to be played with, to have my diaper changed, to take a nap, to get up from a nap, to touch things I'm not supposed to touch, to go outside, to be left alone, etc.

   This week...
I got to have some of my aunts over! They came over just to play with me, I know that's the reason.

They builded block towers for me to knock over, and I threw blocks at them.
It was fun. I like having people over to play with me.
We also practiced walking a lot.

Something I love to do is go to Wal-Mart.
It's the most magical place on earth!
There are so many fun colors to look at and people to watch
and old men to flirt with.
Momma says she hopes I will always think
that Wal-Mart is so much fun.

Also this week I...

Helped with the chores.
                                         Had a toothache.
Chewed on one of momma's favorite movies.
Learned that I like to drink, and play with chocolate milk.
                                Enjoyed being outside, a lot!
                                   And was dreadfully cute.

We did a lot of getting wet this week. I like the blue water. It's wet. And big. Like a bath. Only bigger. And I love a bath! See?

                                       (Me loving a bath.)

I get so excited when I know we are going to the big blue water I wiggle and wiggle and throw a fit when mom wont let me crawl over the edge. She has all these crazy rules, like I have to wait for her to get in with me, I have to wear sunscreen, and I can't jump out of my floaty. When I'm bigger I'm going to be a fish like my siblings so that I can go into the water all by myself! Humph!

Once I get in I am so happy. Sometimes I sit in the big floaty with momma or sissy.
Here we are practicing blowing kisses across the water.
You have to throw them real hard to get them all the way
across the water.
Mommy and me.

Probably the biggest, most exciting thing we did this week was have all of daddy's family over for dinner on Saturday. I got to see Fritzy and everyone played in the pool and we had my favorite pizza casserole! It was Fritz's first time in the pool. I think he liked it after a while.
                                     (First time in the pool.)

(He got shivery so he had to get out.)

I love having family over, we get to play for hours.
But sometimes I get rude when I get hungry and start yelling at everyone. Momma says I need a Snickers.

After we went getting wet, Fritzy and I dried off on the front porch for a while. This is how it went down.
We talked for a minute, then things got serious.
                                      "I like you Fritzy."
                                         "I like you too!"
 "I like you a loooot!"
                                   " I like you more!"
"We are best buddies. Aren't we?"
                                       "Ooooh yeah."

That was my week. I don't know what everyone else did but I had fun getting wet, and playing, and eating. I just hope this next week my teeth stop hurting so that I can be all happy again. I am going to go take a nap, so that momma can do some chores. She says I'm too heavy to carry around while she's doing everything, but I don't think so.

The Anniversary, and Father's Day One

Unlike last week, this week seemed to fly by! It was Monday, then something happened and now its Sunday again. I think I might have a couple of Whackspurts mating in my ears, making everything fuzzy for me! Whoa there Nellie, I need a few minutes to think about things. This week went by so fast, that this will probably be a much shorter post than last week, because I'm still trying to figure out where all the time went, and what exactly did we do all week? Can't have to both ways I guess, time either crawls or runs (kind of like a kid) there's no in-between.

Let's start out on Wednesday, which was mine and Sonny's third wedding anniversary! Happy anniversary to us! We didn't get to go out or anything that night because he was working night shift. I was at a complete loss for what to do, but I wanted to do something nice, even if it was small. Finally, I got the idea to give him one small present for each hour of his shift rather than one large present. A present every hour for twelve hours? Heck yeah! I'm brilliant like that.
1. A set of pens (if you know my husband you know he has a thing for pens and paper.)
2. Small notebook
3. Pocket Knife
4. New wallet
5. Diet Coke for dinner
6. Hersey's dark chocolate kisses
7. DADD shirt
8. New finger nail clippers
9. New soft scrubby
10. Luke Bryan Cd
11. Tiny egg frying pan and
12.....personal item :D

It was a good idea, I'm pretty sure. I wish I would have thought of it a long time ago so I could have been collecting better stuff, but oh well!

You know what he got me?
Five cases of the limited edition Vanilla Float Dr. Pepper, so now I wont run out for a week or two :) Whoohoo! I love the stuff.

We did get to finally go out on Friday, just the two of us! You know, that's only the second time we've been out, just us two, since BK came along? Crazy huh? Needless to say, I was super excited. We had a delicious dinner at Red Hot and Blue then went to Academy to browse around for a while.

(He couldn't figure out how to smile, so I helped him :)

I had a Jack and Coke somethingerother Pulled Pork on a Pretzel Bun.
I could have another one of those. Right now!
Hubby, of course, had steak.

At Academy we ended up buying some bullets, which he promptly spilled all over the floor, not once, but twice. That was funny business!

Oh! Sonny's birthday present (FINALLY) arrived, on Friday.

                                                                   Cool idea? Yes?!

                                                                   His face says yes!

A Jerkygram from Mancrates.com, had some fun and bizarre stuff in it! Like Kangaroo, Ostrich, and Alligator jerky. Happy (late) birthday babe!

It was a pretty off week with Baby K. She was running a low fever half the week, and the only thing I can figure is teething, as she wont let me anywhere near her mouth, and she's constantly got both fists in there rubbing her gums. Teething is vicious business!
She had a pretty bad night on Thursday, woke up screaming and couldn't stop for almost two hours. She ended up in bed with me, rolling around screaming into the pillow and blankets, getting tired and leaning on me, sobbing. That was not a fun time.
She finally fell asleep, just barely touching me and on the very edge of my               pillow. But you can bet your mustache I didn't move a muscle all night.

Although a lot of the week we had our grumpy faces on, there were several highlights...
(As a parent, it doesn't get much better than seeing your child's interest in books develop...at the point that I snapped this picture I was pretty darn proud, seeing her sitting there, looking at books quietly...then she started ripping the pages out. Proud moment gone!)

Modeling the new mermaid beach towel G.G got for her in Florida!

                                          This week on the farm...
(McGonagall helping keep an eye on everyone.)

We had our first "harvest!" Three hot peppers, one cucumber and one squash (We've actually picked four more cucumbers since then, and will probably have more ready today.) I can tell ya, I love me a good garden fresh cucumber, especially the sweet slice ones we planted this year, but we are gonna have more than we can eat. I'm waiting impatiently for the tomatoes to ripen! No more cardboard flavored Wal-Mart tomatoes for a while, yes please!

We are really enjoying our new buck, he is such a sweetyhead, beggar face! Who could resist that face?

We butchered the spotted rabbits on Friday, so there's gonna be some good eating going on around here! (McGonagall was helping guarding them.)

Kyra made some Pepsi pops! I guess we weren't thinking too well and filled the trays full of the fuzzy liquid, so they kind of over-flowed. Next time we will only be filling the trays half full! It was a funny surprise first thing in the morning. "Oh by the way, you might want to look in the freezer..."

Also this week I tried a new Pinterest recipe. Broccoli and Cheese Stuffed Tilapia...get in my belly!   It was so good I was really disappointed to take my last bite.

It was Father's Day this weekend! Honestly...we didn't get to do a whole lot.

But this is my dad. He has always worked and provided for all his kids. Maybe we didn't always get the newest, lastest, greatest things, or get to go on big family vacations, but we always had what we needed and I think that makes me a better person in the end. He is always praying for me, and willing to help me out whenever I have a problem or question. Also the man is a freaking gardening genius. Its true. If you have a question about a plant, he knows the answer, or at least where to find the answer. He is the greenest thumb I've ever met.

We had a pretty good father's day at our house. We went to one of Sonny's favorite places for lunch (sadly the place he really wanted to go to was closed.) Then he had one of his buddy's over they went shooting for a while, and then spent the rest of the afternoon in the pool with all the kids, followed by delicious grilled food and hanging out with friends.

Shooting is something we think is pretty fun. Especially, when you get to try out new guns. I just got to shoot an AR-15 for the first time...that was something I could definitely do all day!

In closing I want to say thank you to all the great dads out there.
I couldn't imagine the world without dads!
I wouldn't want to.
No sir.

You are what you eat.
